How It Works
Vendor Attribute Options plugin allows vendor can add new option values for dropdown or multiple select attributes. Admin can specify attributes are allowed for vendor to add new option values.

After installing Vendor Attribute Option, the website admin will need to do some configuration from Admin panel for choosing which attributes is allowed and which vendor groups will have permission of adding custom attribute option without reviewing by admin. From Admin Panel, click to Marketplace icon on the left sidebar then go Configuration > Vendor Page, then find tab Seller Attribute Option
Here, the admin can select attributes that he allow vendor to add new attribute option, admin can also set the Approved Group that all options is added from sellers in this group will no need to be approved. Besides, the admin can also configure for template of notification email sent to vendor when his added attribute option is approved or unapproved and email sender.
To review the request of product attribute option by vendor, Admin will go to the following link: Marketplace > Catalogs > Product Attribute Option Request. A page will be shown as the screen shot below:
From this page the admin can see a table listing all the requested product attribute option along with vendor’s name, attribute code, requested option value, vendor’s comment and status. For changing a request’s status, admin can click to View button in the Action column of a specific request, then approve it:
When a vendor adds new or edits an existed product, which has an attribute with attribute options not included in the dropdown or multi select list of this attribute, now with Vendor Attribute Option plugin he can quickly add more options to any allowed attribute for adding custom attribute option by admin. Everything he need to do is clicking to Add Option button stays next to the attribute and filling the option’s name and comment:
Then waiting for admin approved the admin request of adding product attribute option and the vendor can make any product with any attribute option they want.
